Connect your EV battery charger to your home, business or the electric grid
More and more electric vehicles (EVs) are equipped with bidirectional charging. That means you can use your vehicle’s battery to:
- Power devices plugged into your car’s charging port
- Power your home through your charging station
- Transmit power from commercial charging stations back to the electric grid
Connecting your EV charging station
VCE is working with PG&E on a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Pilot Program to make it easier for both residential and commercial customers to purchase EVs and charging stations capable of bidirectional charging.
Residential Customers
Connect your EV and your charging station to your home’s electrical panel to power your home
Commercial Customers
Connect your fleet of commercial EVs and high-capacity charging stations to the electrical grid so you can return power to the grid at times of high demand
If you have additional questions about the program or want to sign up, contact PG&E.
