More Ways to Benefit from VCE

Cleaner electricity is only part of what VCE offers. Our programs and services can help you save energy and money, explore electric upgrades, and find rebates and incentives that may lower your costs.

How It Works

VCE ensures that electricity from renewable sources (like wind and solar) make it onto the electricity grid. PG&E then delivers it to you as they always have, and continues to handle billing, line maintenance and emergency services. As a VCE customer, you won’t notice any difference in your service—but your power will be less polluting. No effort needed on your part.

The Easiest Clean Energy Upgrade

Choose UltraGreen for electricity that is 100% renewable and 100% carbon-free. There is nothing to install and no change to how you use electricity. For a typical home, it costs about $7 to $10 more per month, depending on electricity use.

Local Choice. Statewide Impact.

VCE is one of 25 community choice energy providers serving more than 15 million customers across 200-plus California cities and counties. Together, these locally governed providers are expanding clean energy, investing in new generation and storage, and developing programs around the needs of their communities.
